At Corby Rock Mill, we understand the responsibility that our team and our business activities have in the provision of sustainable, safe and nutritious animal feedstuffs to our customers. We do so in a manner which supports the development of our local communities now, while protecting the resources for future generations, both locally and in communities in distant countries from which some of our feed ingredients are derived.
In setting out the framework for Target 25, we have worked to align our goals with those of globally accepted sustainability commitments. In terms of EU animal feed sustainability standards, we align with the goals of the European Feed Manufacturers Federation – FEFAC. Target 25 reflects the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future (with a view from 2015-2030). At its heart are 4 key pillars which reflect the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) against which we will report as part of Target 25.
