Corby Rock Mill provides a unique nutritional package and full support to all customers. We will provide complimentary silage or grass analysis and supply a tailor-made blend to meet specific herd requirements.

 

Corby Rock’s state of the art feed mill is complimented with a unique nutritional package incorporating a top class technical nutritional service and a well-researched portfolio of the very best feed ingredients available.

 

Our technical nutritional team designs our nutritional package based on sound Irish research and after in-depth consultation with our high-performance ruminant customers. This ensures that Corby Rock mill meets the nutritional demands of the modern ruminant leading to more profitable productive and reproductive performance.

 

Our technical nutritional service is there to meet our customer, needs, for example, overcoming fertility problems, minimising lameness problems and improving herd health.

Weanling Blend Stage 1

  • 16% Protein, designed to gain optimum growth in weanlings and young stock
  • High quality raw materials, to ensure that calves exploit the elevated energy and protein levels to maximise growth at a time when it is most efficient
  • 40% cereal blend
  • Can be fed from 4 months of age
  • Ideal creep fed blend
  • Protein: 16%
  • Crude Fat: 2.9%
  • Crude Fibre: 8.2%
  • Crude Ash: 6.2%
Beef Blend Stage 2

  • Follows on from Weanling Blend Stage 1
  • Protein level of 14.0% designed for growing cattle and as a pre finisher blend
  • Ideal for feeding at grass
  • High levels of Maize and Barley, will grow cattle but also encourage development of lean muscle and top line finish
  • 45% cereal blend
  • Can be fed from 6 months of age
  • Protein: 14.0%
  • Crude Fat: 3.3%
  • Crude Fibre: 8.2%
  • Crude Ash: 6.8%
Finisher Blend Stage 3

  • Follows on from the Beef Blend stage 2
  • Reduced crude protein level of 11% to finish cattle
  • This blend has the ability to produce cattle with maximised potential carcass gain leading to optimal kill out percentage at slaughter
  • 60% cereal with high Maize and starch levels
  • Low protein and high levels of Maize ensures maximum grading, percentage “kill out” of your animals and superior topline finish
  • Contains Acidbuf which maintains a stable rumen pH reducing the risk of acidosis which in turn will increase daily live weight gain
  • Protein: 11.0%
  • Crude Fat: 3.0%
  • Crude Fibre: 8.5%
  • Crude Ash: 5.8%
16 MTH Finisher Blend

  • This blend was designed and has proven to have cattle finished under 16 months old
  • Protein of 13% allows the animal to develop bone and tissue and also to put on condition
  • This blend has been proven to reduce days to finish improving DLWG
  • Will  produce cattle with superior levels of finish and conformation ensuring fat condition on young animals
  • 60% cereal, high Maize levels
  • 13% protein and high Maize levels will ensure maximum grading and percentage “kill out” of you animals, whilst they are still growing
  • Contains Megalac for improved fat cover
  • Contains Acidbuf which maintains optimum pH in the rumen, reducing the risk of acidosis and has the ability to increase daily live weight gain
  • Protein: 13.0%
  • Crude Fat: 3.7%
  • Crude Fibre: 8.0%
  • Crude Ash: 6.0%
Supreme Beef Blend

  • High quality coarse blend widely used in all stages of beef production
  • Similar specification to the Supreme Beef Pellet
  • 16% Protein designed for weanlings, store cattle or as a pre finisher diet.
  • Palatable for use in creep feeders whilst still retaining the power to produce well fleshed cattle

Intensive Bull Blend

  • Similar specification to the Intensive Bull Pellet
  • High Maize content and reduced protein, will produce cattle with superior levels of finish and conformation
  • Feed at high levels during the last 8 weeks of finishing period
  • Contains Acidbuf and Actisaf Yeast as standard

  • Crude Fat: 4.0%
  • Crude Fibre: 7.5%
  • Crude Ash: 6.5%
Stockman GP Blend

  • Designed for feeding to both Beef and Sheep.
  • Not suitable for Lambs.
  • Maize and Barley based blend designed for increased growth and weight gain.
  • Ewe Premix included-No Copper added.
  • Not recommended for ewes pre-lambing.
